Who are you?
Bridget. Though these days I can be just as easily called Rik and am known by some only as such. I write. It’s a hobby and a great love of mine spurred on from years of reading above my age level. I like all sorts of music, currently jazz-pop is a top favourite. I often use the British equivalent of spelling and the like. In person I am crass, swear a lot, get very bored very easily, have no motivation and perpetually look either: tired, drugged, angry, sad or any combination of these. Usually I’m none of the above. I don’t drink, smoke, do drugs; nor do I have any intention of starting.

Where do you live?
Mostly in my own mind, but sometimes yours.

What career do you want to have?
I hope to be a professional editor-one-day-maybe-publisher.

Yes.

How did you decide on the name Rik?
It was decided for me by one of my friends, its short for Rikuo, a character from the manga ‘Legal Drug.’ Don’t call me Rikuo.

Who’s your favourite anime character of the opposite gender?
That’s tough, I have a helluva lot of favorites: Grimmjow, Sstark, Sanzo, Gojyo, Kougaiji, Johnny Rayflo, Krad, Prussia, and D. [Respectively from: Bleach, Saiyuki, Vassalord, DNAngel, Hetalia and Pet Shop of Horrors.] And that’s only the ones that come to mind right away.

When did you get into anime/manga?
About seventh grade; so it’s been roughly six years.

Ew, yaoi, why do you like that stuff? I mean, if they’re gay, they can’t like you.
I don’t care about that, I have no real interest in having sex anyway. I also find vaginas very, very disturbing and disgusting.

How long have you been writing for?
Seriously, about the same time as I got into anime and manga (I really don’t think that they’re related). I still have a bunch of the stories that I worked on…they need a lot of work…and plot.

Do you write on the computer or in notebooks, then computer?
Usually I write in a notebook, especially during the school year. But for some of the drabbles or other spur-of-the-moment things are typed directly.

Why is a lot of your stories so short?
Because I have the tendency to rush through them as fast as I possibly can, in hopes of getting on to the next idea. I think I got it from how I play video games. It’s a horrible habit, and I hope to change it. I also have a very short attention span and only short ones can hold me, plus it’s somewhat difficult for me to think of all the little details that go into a long running story.

Does it suck to always have well over 100 ideas to work on?
Yeah, kinda. >__>''

How do you handle it?
Ignore it and hope it goes away? D:

Some of your stories are crap/have a lot of mistakes/don’t make sense.
I know, that’s something I have on my “to do” list, go back and fix them all. Try not to think to hardly on it when you see a mistake.

You have a lot of guy characters, why is that?
For some reason I feel more comfortable writing as a guy. I don’t get it either.

Are you gay?
No.

Transgender?
Not that I know of.

So you’re just for gay rights?
Not really. I feel that every human is equal, I just get more defensive about the LGBTQ.

Do you ever get upset over the fact that because your artistic medium is literature, you don’t get requests/art trade offers/commissions/ect…, because anyone with a half-way decent mind can string together a substantial sentence (and it would probably be better than anything you could create anyway)?
No, not at all.

Is it okay if I make fanart of ____?
